THE VISION OF GOD’S CHURCH
God has given me an awesome vision: to Love, Lead and Live like Christ. A vision where families are strong units, grounded and founded in the Word, raising men and women to be people of integrity, honor and discipline. A vision where communities work together to help the less fortunate so that everyone is not only employed but empowered to be effective contributing members of society. A vision where the men and women of faith will turn into the Word of GOD (incarnational) and governments and corporations will seek counsel from the men and women of faith (Christian Faith) in leadership in business and governmental affairs.
Church is who you become and not what you do. Here at New Jerusalem we work hard at becoming who God desires us to be. Athanasius one of the church father’s said, “God became man that man may become God.” In other words, we become Sons of God when we minister, transforming the lives of others to be who God has called them to be.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is (1 John 3:2 KJV).
We become the church in order to show the world the church through Outreach Ministries.

(Ones who act on the authority of another)

Ministry was a term that was given to those men that road in the bottom belly of the boat. they propelled the movement. Our ministries today are workers that are continuing to propel the gospel of Christ.

Ushers
To unite, develop educate and strengthen skills of those that have accepted the challenge of a person-to-person ministry within the church.  Full focus on the four pillars of church: Doctrine, Evangelism, Stewardship and Fellowship as a major part of ministry's purpose. The Ushers are  comprised of Christian men and women who have been called to serve in their local churches as ushers (servants) nurses and health professionals.
In order to be a Christ-centered and effective in their roles, Ushers must first be Christians.  We should not only seek to know Christ, but we should seek to show Christ in our lives each and every day.  To this end, the Ushers Auxiliary provides information on Christian salvation, encourages members to understand what salvation means so that they can witness about the goodness of Jesus Christ and carry out His "Great Commission" through ushering and health related programming.

Brotherhood

The Brotherhood Auxiliary is comprised of males of the Convention ages 25 and older but, we have a passion for all ages. The goals of the Brotherhood Auxiliary are to win souls to Christ; promote family worship; demonstrate Christian conduct in speech and dress; engage in prayer and Bible study daily; conduct studies of mission messages in the word of God; observe scheduled seasons of prayer; religiously educate our children; and to systematically support the Convention with its time, talent, treasure and testimony.

Youth Department
The Children’s and Youth Auxiliary is comprised of children and youth ages twenty-four (24) and under. The goals of the National Children and Youth Auxiliary are to provide our children and youth with wholesome Christian education; evangelism; training, teaching and counseling to obtain the highest standards of Christian living; witnessing; serving; worshiping; and to systematically support the Convention with its time, talent, treasure and testimony.

Deacon Ministry

"The overseers of the affairs of the church and families"

1 Timothy 3:8-13
Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Choir Praise

What is the chief end of man? A. Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.
The choir works tremendously hard to seek songs that speaks to God (vertical) and then songs that speak to the heart of the congregation ushering them into a realm of praise (horizontal).  Praise creates an atmosphere conducive for God to dwell in. The Psalmist declares, “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel (Psalms 22:3 KJV). Come out and join us is worshipping God the Father, Jesus the Son and God the Holy Spirit in song.
